Submissions

Authors are welcome to submit their recent results for presentation at the conference. All submissions shall be original, previously unpublished work not currently under review by other publications. In reaction to the current global development, authors are invited to contribute to a special session, the working title of which is “Fresh practical experience with implementation of distance education methods and technologies in a pandemic situation”.

Firstly, please prepare an extended abstract that will be evaluated with respect to its suitability. Then you will be notified about the acceptance and given enough time for submission of your full paper that will be reviewed by two to three independent members of the Technical Program Committee. Finally, the camera-ready version will be submitted, reflecting the reviewers’ notes and suggestions.

Special session announcement

In reaction to the current global development, authors are invited to contribute to a special session, the working title of which is “Fresh practical experience with implementation of distance education methods and technologies in a pandemic situation”.

Abstract submission

Please submit your abstract through RegSys conference management system. If you are not registered in RegSys, please do so. Then provide all the necessary details, i.e. the author information, title and abstract (plain text, recommended extent up to 1800 characters), keywords, and select the most relevant topic or topics. The abstract will be assessed and you will be notified about the decision.

Full paper submission

  1. Download the template. The templates are available from IEEE website. Microsoft Word A4 (DOC) is recommended.
  2. Complete your paper. Please do not forget to include the necessary data such as authors’ information/affiliation, references, keywords, etc. Do not add page numbers to the manuscript.
  3. Add a copyright notice. Include the IEEE copyright notice on the bottom of the first page, which will typically be:
    “978-1-7281-9327-4/21/$31.00 ©2021 IEEE”.
If all authors are employed by the US government OR all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia) OR all authors are employed by the European Union, please contact the conference organizers by e-mail for specific instructions.
  4. Convert your document into IEEE-compatible PDF. The PDF version of the paper must be created using IEEE’s service PDF eXpress to ensure its compliance with IEEE requirements for PDF files. To convert the source file into PDF using IEEE PDF eXpress, do the following:
    • Access IEEE PDF eXpress. First-time users should select the “Create account” link and enter the following information:
      • 50507X as the Conference ID,
      • Valid e-mail address as a username,
      • A password.
    • Continue to enter information as prompted.
    • An online confirmation will be displayed and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you, verifying your account setup.
    • Existing users of PDF eXpress should follow similar steps, entering the same password that they used for previous conferences. Please make sure that your contact information is updated.
    • After successful conversion/verification of your converted paper (i.e. when the paper status is “Pass”), please approve it.
    • Download the converted PDF file.
  5. Upload the resulting PDF. Your paper should be uploaded through RegSys conference management system by the announced deadline. The paper submission procedure is straightforward and intuitive. Please specify the final title and list of authors along with just one (!) e-mail address of the corresponding author. Do not forget to save your submission.
